Wear Sky Blue^SM is a global call to action from the Community Healing Network, Inc. We call on every Black person to take a stand for the emotional emancipation of Black people. Join with us during the celebration of Community Healing Days 2010, Friday through Saturday, October 15, 16, and 17. Let’s all Wear Sky Blue to show our collective commitment to turning the pain of the blues into the sky blue of unlimited possibilities.

The purpose of Community Healing Days^SM is to put “time for healing” on the Black agenda. Community Healing Days are three days set aside each year on the third weekend of every October to raise awareness about the continuing effects of the myth of Black inferiority and to mobilize Black people to free ourselves from it--once and for all.

Your commitment to Wear Sky Blue on Community Healing Days will tell the world that you are saying “yes” to healing, “yes” to emancipation from the myth of Black inferiority, “yes” to emotional freedom for Black people all over the world!

CHN is working on sky blue wristbands and ribbons that will be available at low cost, but you can participate in the Wear Sky Blue campaign by wearing any item of clothing made out of any color blue that resembles the sky on a bright sunny day.
